Who Are We

What originally started in 2015 as a movement called HOPE, has grown to become the 2022 registered entity called Hope Ascending. We have during this time been part of numerous community development and upliftment initiatives. The late Nelson Mandela once stated “Our human compassion binds us the one to the other not in pity or patronizingly, but as human beings who have learnt how to turn our common suffering into hope for the future.” Hope Ascending shares in that sentiment.

What We Do

Hope Ascending has a vision to see communities uplifted and hope cultivated. There are various methods through which we see to achieve this. The two primary ways we envision this to be accomplished, is through working with local communities to identify their needs, their priorities, and their contribution and participation and secondly, approaching government, business and other NGO’s to assist in the provision of those needs. The projects we undertake on behalf of the communities are funded by donors and sponsors.
